Frequently Asked Questions

What does the free consultation include?

The free consultation is done over the phone and is a chance for us to discuss what prompted you to reach out, what your immediate needs are and how I can help you with the photo chaos. I will ask you some basic questions about your photo storage and backup and we can discuss some basic ideas of what you would like to accomplish.

What does the in home consultation include?

An in home consultation is the best way for me to assess where you are in your photo organization (both digital and printed), where you want to go and how I can help you get there. At this meeting, we will discuss your needs as well as the challenges you face with the current state of your photo collection. I can get an idea of the scope of your project and will leave you with some suggestions of where to begin and how I can help you.

Where are you located? Can you help me if I don’t live near you?

I am located in Houston, Texas. In person, I service the Greater Houston and Galveston areas and I also travel to Austin frequently and can service those areas as well. If you are not local to Southeast Texas, I can certainly help you with photo books and remote digital organizing.

i don’t even know where all my photos are! Where do i begin?

With technology changing so fast and people owning so many devices this is a common issue. That’s why you are here. I know where to look, I will ask you questions, list places that photos could be stored, find the photos on your devices and in online platforms (such as Shutterfly, Google photos, etc) and gather it all for you. Take a deep breath and let me guide you through the process.

How long does a project take to complete?

The length of time to complete an organizing project varies based on the size and complexity of the project. At the initial consultation we will discuss your timeframe. You will get consistent progress updates from me.

Do my photos have to be digital or can you organize printed photos as well?

I can organize both digital and printed photo collections. For printed photo organizing, we will discuss how they are currently organized and labeled at our initial meeting. Memorabilia such as birth certificates, children’s artwork, and other documents can be included as well.

I have all my photos gathered but I also found old videos, CD’s, negatives, slides and other old media. Can you help me with that?

Yes! While I do not digitize older media formats in house, I do have a large network of trusted professionals that I outsource to. Once your media is all digitized, I can add it to your collection for easy access.
